We love it when creative teams do clever things to PR themselves.
Of course, having a brilliant book is the main thing. But thinking of a fresh way to get yourself noticed is the holy grail.
After two years Nat and I are hanging up our placement scout-caps and handing the job over to the brilliant Martin and Olly. So we thought we’d do a little tribute to some of the best things we’ve seen over the last two years.
Rob & Joe’s taxonomy of agency names – we gave them a placement off the back of it. They’re great, get them in!
Richard & Jolyon’s tube map of agencies – awesome team, spoken for now though.
Will & Yury’s The Papal Headhunters – (I also love the bit of Italian they snuck in at the end)
Andy & Polly’s Valentines Cards for Creatives – just brilliant.
An oldie but a goodie – Nat’s ‘toilet reading’ – So called because they snuck into Peter Souter’s loo whilst they were face-painting at his children’s birthday party. It won Nat and Danni (her then partner) a placement at AMV in 2002.
And last week, this landed on our desk, from a junior creative in Belgium.
We’ll leave you with this though. An inspiring little movie about not giving up. Made by most the recent team we got in, who’ve just been hired. Congrats to Rachel Miles and Michael Tsim!
