A few months ago I (lol) mentioned I’d been approached by a fellow crisp-spotter about my ludicrous 80’s crisp-packet collection which I made for my Brownie Guide collectors badge in 1987.

Turns out David Valentine, whose collection is about 5 times as big as mine, is now a minor celebrity. According to the Metro, it’s worth over 10k!

Interesting to know they’re worth so much… I might have to get back to some of the people who have got in touch with me about mine now! Although, as Dave says, it is hard to imagine parting with them. They are design classics (albeit smelly).
